I am a second year PhD student in Applied Mathematics at the Queen Mary University of London. My PhD project aims to develop new measures, based on optimization principles and information theory techniques, to extract relevant features from large-scale multilayer networks. I studied mathematics (both BSc and MSc) at the University of Catania, Italy. I was also a student of the 'Scuola Superiore di Catania', a public institution that provides university students with advanced additional courses.
