I have a BSc in Water Resources and Environmental Engineering (UFF-Brazil), with an MSc in Complex Systems Modeling (USP-Brazil). I am now working on my Ph.D. thesis on Dynamics of the Urban Metabolism at EPFL-Switzerland. Before moving to Europe, I had worked for several City Planning initiatives in Rio de Janeiro, mostly with data analysis on sustainability (UN-Habitat, IPP, P3NS4). During the first years of my Ph.D. I had co-founded the not for profit organization Metabolism of Cities.
