Mr Faisal Karim is a senior Mathematics lecturer at the school of Mathematics for one year and then moved to School of Distance Education, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Penang , Malaysia at the end of 1984. He received his B.Sc. (Spec Mathematics) from Hull University, England in 1982 and M.Sc. (Theoretical Mechanics) from East Anglia University, England in 1983. Attended some Distance Education trainings in Deakin & Murdoch University, Australia in 1985 and in 1987 he attended technical training in Instructional Designs at Open Learning Agency, Vancouver, Canada. Lately he has developed special interest in Agent-Based Computational Modelling and Complexity Theory to be applied in Distance Education System.Traveling is his passion.
