TRAVEL TO SANTA FE: We expect that you will reserve and purchase your own air and ground travel and pay for them directly. As soon as you have made your travel plans, please send your itinerary to <Insert Name of SFI Desk Jockey Here> We need to know your means of travel, and date and times of your arrival and departure.

NEAREST AIRPORT: The closest major airport connection to Santa Fe is Albuquerque, New Mexico, approximately 60 miles south of Santa Fe. Most major airlines, including Southwest Airlines, fly into Albuquerque. A limited number of flights arrive at the small (and predominantly general aviation) Santa Fe Airport.

INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL: Those of you traveling from overseas arriving late on Saturday night can stay in Albuquerque and travel to Santa Fe on Sunday. SFI will book rooms for you in a hotel by the airport and pay that cost. Please confirm via e-mail as soon as possible to barbarav@santafe.edu if you would like to request a hotel room in Albuquerque for Saturday, June 5. We can NOT cover the cost of a hotel if you make your own arrangements or choose to stay in Santa Fe before the start of the school.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION FROM ALBUQUERQUE INTERNATIONAL SUNPORT: You may reach St. John's College from the Albuquerque International Sunport (approximately 90 minutes) with Sandia Shuttle (www.sandiashuttle.com or toll free 888-775-5696). The cost is $25.00 one way or $45.00 round trip. With the busy summer tourist season in Santa Fe, reservations are mandatory. The Sandia Shuttle desk is located in the baggage claim area at the Albuquerque airport. Be sure to indicate St John's College as your "Drop Off Location" when making the reservation. Ask the driver to take you to the parking circle for Peterson Student Center.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION FROM SANTA FE AIRPORT: Road Runner Shuttle can take you from the Santa Fe airport to St. John's College. For reservations call (505) 424-3367.

CAR RENTAL: Car rental is available at both airports. You must be 21 or older to rent a car. It is possible to rent a car just for a weekend in Santa Fe. Refer to information on http://www.santafe.edu/about/contact-us.php regarding SFI's corporate rates with Enterprise Rent-a-Car.

PERSONAL VEHICLE: If you are driving your car to Santa Fe and would like riders, we suggest you contact fellow participants in your area. Free long-term parking is available at the College with a parking permit (assigned on arrival). If you let Barbara know in advance that you will be arriving with a personal or rental car, she would be happy to secure the proper documents for you prior to check in.

TRAIN/BUS: You can travel to nearby Lamy Station by Amtrak; however, ground transportation from Lamy to Santa Fe and especially to St John's College is sometimes undependable. Call the Lamy Shuttlebus at (505) 982-8829 for shuttle reservations. Greyhound also travels to Santa Fe; should you use Greyhound the only way to get from the bus station to the campus is by taxi (Capital City Cab, (505) 438-0000).
