Dawn Parker's research has focused on methodological development of agent-based models of land-use and land-cover change. Her recent work focuses on agent-based models of land markets. She was a founding member of the Centre for Social Complexity and PhD in Computational Social Science before joining the University of Waterloo, where she now serves as Director for the Waterloo Institute for Complexity and Innovation
