The field of innovation is fragmented and has poor discipline. Often, practitioners use approaches that have poor underlying discipline and are surprised at poor results. Further, many major corporations waste significant time, capital and resources in poor innovation development and execution. At Sante Fe I will be looking at core disciplines in complex systems and how they may be applied to develop a more robust, pragmatic and measurable approach to innovation that can be utilised across any industry. Areas if interest include natural growth systems/patterns, scalability, automata, machine leaning, idea emergence, complex interactions, assumption testing, behavioural economics and others that may inform this area. | |||
