Pooya Rezaei received the M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran in 2010, and the B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran in 2008. Currently, he is pursuing the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Vermont. [http://www.uvm.edu/~prezaei/ website]
I am a third year Ph.D. candidate in Electrical Engineering at the University of Vermont. My focus is generally on power and energy systems. Currently, my research is on cascading blackouts risk estimation and mitigation in power grids. I am looking forward to learn more about complex systems, and especially complex networks, and apply them in my future research. Complex Systems Summer School 2014

I am a third year Ph.D. candidate in Electrical Engineering at the University of Vermont. My focus is generally on power and energy systems. Currently, my research is on cascading blackouts risk estimation and mitigation in power grids. I am looking forward to learn more about complex systems, and especially complex networks, and apply them in my future research. I received the M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology (2010) and University of Tehran (2008) respectively. website
