I am a PhD student in evolutionary biology, specifically in the fields of molecular evolution and evolutionary systems biology. I am mainly interested in genome and microbial evolution. My current research focuses on three broad topics: (1) epistasis in empirical adaptive landscapes, (2) the determinants of protein evolution, and (3) the role of molecular chaperones in evolution. Besides science, I am very passionate about science fiction.
