High School Prize for Scientific Excellence 2014 |
Christopher Brown has been a student for the last three years at the MASTERS Early College Charter High School program on the campus of Santa Fe Community College. He has been enrolled in many dual enrollment courses focusing primarily in the areas of math and science. While he has dabbled in almost all of the available science subjects his most recent focus has been on Biology. To this end he has taken three semesters of college Biology. Chris has taken every chance he could get to work with the school’s many scientific related programs. He is currently one of the most experienced students with the school's scanning electron microscope and 3D printer. Chris is not only good with the technology but is happy to share his skills in the teaching and helping of others. He is currently planning to pursue a degree in Biomedical Engineering and Biochemistry at Colorado State University-Fort Collins this coming fall.
