I am a 2nd year PhD @ USC studying the lower-dimensional representation of complex, unstructured datasets (eg. multi-spectral satellite images, 3D MRI scans). My work lies in the intersection of statistical machine learning, information theory and computer vision. I also work on interactive visualizations of high-dimensional datasets as well as complex models (eg. deep neural nets) as a way to gain better insight and understanding of them. I'm interested in distilling the informational contents shared by data from multiple sources by and also understanding structures that govern different domain's way of representing the information content.
