Travis is investigating how complex systems science can be used to increase deep resident engagement in community-embedded initiatives. He studies multi-level health systems from the ground up using methodologically rigorous structural modeling and social network techniques. To this end, his current focus is on evaluating a state-wide public health initiative to understand how changes in network structure align with desired health outcomes.
