Complex Systems Summer School 2015

An interactive lecture introducing students to the basic tools of nonlinear time series analysis. The students will reconstruct the dynamics of a time series using so-called delay coordinate embedding and then calculate important dynamics quantities such as Lyapunov exponents and fractal dimension.
