I am a second year PhD student at Arizona State University, where I study the origin of life here on Earth and what it can tell us about potential life in the universe. My research focuses what makes the biochemical reactions within life different than the inorganic reactions outside of life. To that end, I study the evolution of the chiral nature of biochemical compounds as a means of distinguishing life from non-life.
