Mario Andrés Muñoz Acosta

I completed my BEng and MEng at Universidad del Valle, Colombia; and my PhD at The University of Melbourne, Australia. I am a postdoc at Monash University, Australia. My focus is on the application of optimization, data analysis, and machine learning methods to ill-defined problems, such as the algorithm selection for black-box optimization, anomaly detection in streaming data, educational data mining, and the effect of unexpected events in financial markets. I enjoy the casual bike ride.
