Valeriy Dzutsev is doctoral student in political science at Arizona State University and Senior Non-Resident Fellow at Jamestown Foundation, Washington D.C. His research interests extend to ethnic and religious conflict, collective action paradigm, political violence, state secession, evolution of the North Caucasus, Russia and countries in Eurasia. Valeriy’s articles appeared in Social Science Quarterly, Nationalities Papers, Post-Soviet Affairs and others.
