Takeshi Kobayashi is a second generation Japanese American from Santa Fe, New Mexico. He
 
has been interested in the world of math, science, and technology since a very young age. He has
 
participated in many programs, such as Project Guts, Big Sky Learning, and the Complexity and Modeling
 
Camp, which have helped to reinforce his love of learning in the area of STEM. Takeshi is going to
 
graduate from The Academy for Technology and the Classics, and is choosing between Northeastern
 
University and the University of Denver for undergraduate studies.

High School Prize for Scientific Excellence 2014
