Complex Systems Summer School 2020

2020 COMPLEX SYSTEMS SUMMER SCHOOL
June 14 - July 10, 2020 - Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA

Campus Location

You will be housed and most lectures will take place at Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA)

Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA)
83 Avan Nu Po Road
Santa Fe, New Mexico 87508

Directions to campus and campus map here.

Campus Security - 505-577-1660

Emergency Number (anywhere in the U.S.) 911

Flights to Santa Fe or Albuquerque

You can book a flight to Santa Fe Airport (SAF) or to Albuquerque Airport (ABQ). ABQ is usually less expensive but not always.

If you are traveling far, you may want to arrive on Saturday. You can stay at an inexpensive hotel near the airport and catch a shuttle to Santa Fe on Sunday morning. If you are traveling from sea level, a night at 5,500 feet can be helpful for adjusting to high altitude before coming to Santa Fe which is at 7,000 feet.

Groome Transportation (formerly Sandia Shuttle (ABQ to Santa Fe locations)
Roadrunner Shuttle (SAF to Santa Fe hotels)

Sunday, June 14th

If you are riding the Groome Transportation Shuttle from the Albuquerque airport ask the driver to drop you off at the 599 RailRunner Station. We will run a free shuttle service from 11 am to 5 pm from this stop to IAIA. If your shuttle arrives outside these times, you will need to order a LYFT or an UBER from this stop to get to IAIA. It would be wise to share a ride with other CSSS students on your shuttle.

There is no longer a regular taxi service in Santa Fe. There is New Mexico Black Car Service but it is a bit more upscale and can be pricey. You can get a quote using their site.
