I'm finishing my PhD in physics, during which I was working with Jeremy England at MIT looking for principles that drive out-of-equilibrium systems towards emergent ordering, with a view towards understanding origins of life. Next, I am keen to apply the insights we learned to other complex systems found in nature and society. I am also very excited about deeper philosophical underpinnings and implications of this work, and insights we can draw from and for our everyday experience.
