I study economics with an interest in the computational capabilities at the group level, and the process of how decentralized decision making stacks into global coordination. My research interests include anything from complexity theory, governance and property rights systems, mechanism design, modularity and standards, and applications of information theory, group theory, statistical mechanics, and swarm intelligence. I study at the University of Connecticut, and will listen/discuss everything from postmodern literature to invasive biology to the unique property right systems of mushroom foraging in Nordic countries.
