Complex Systems Summer School 2020 |
Natalia Mantilla-Beniers
Professor
Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México - Mexico
I studied mathematics and then went on to study biological phenomena with mathematical tools. Initially, looking at activity patterns in ants' nests; later, investigating disease ecology, though I am also interested in how ideas form, evolve and reach other people. In the near future, I would like to investigate questions of a more social and economical nature, and I am hoping that CSSS will help me make this transition. When I am not teaching or behind a computer, I enjoy cooking, traveling, reading and cycling everywhere.
