Mackenzie Johnson

I am a graduate student in the Department of Integrative Biology at the University of Texas at Austin with Mark Kirkpatrick and Claus Wilke. I am broadly interested in genome evolution, the evolution of sex and sex determination, phylogenetic inference, and protein evolution. For my dissertation, I am interested in implementing novel methods to understand how genomes evolve under sexual reproduction.
