Erwin Knippenberg
Cooper/Smith - USA
Dr. Erwin Knippenberg is Lead Economist at Cooper/Smith, a DC-based startup using data to drive innovations in public health and food security. Erwin has a PhD in Applied Economics from Cornell University, where he wrote his dissertation on resilience and food security in the context of climate change. As a consultant at the World Bank, he used machine learning algorithms to inform poverty targeting. Prior to Cornell Erwin was an ODI Fellow at the Liberian Ministry of Finance.
