Jovita De Loatch, Ronin Institute - San Francisco, CA USA
I am an independent researcher at the Ronin Institute and documentary film producer. The focus of my research is on the legal structures and usage norms regulating coastal urban sustainability. My goal is to understand and explain how different scales of juridicity (such as case, statutory or regulatory laws; policy guidance; agency reviews; and local norms) can produce different use-behaviors.I am also interested in discovering how planners use information in forming judgements within governing institutions.
