I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Mathematics at Imperial College London, where my research is on studying cities as complex systems - specifically on issues relating to the impact of increased migration, the development of slums and segregation in cities. Prior to the PhD, I used to head a policy research group in India, the IFMR Finance Foundation, where we worked on issues of financial system design and sustainable public finance for a rapidly urbanising India.
