Haitao Shang studies at University of Minnesota (Duluth, MN) and majors in mathematics, physics and geological science. He is interested complex systems theory and its application in physical science, especially the pattern of life evolution and geological phenomena. He will start his Ph.D. career in the Department of Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Cambridge, MA) in Fall 2015.
