Hello! :)
My name is Stoyana Alexandrova (you can call me Stunji). I just finished my sophomore year in Los Alamos High School. In the summer of 2005, I participated in the Santa Fe Institute Summer Internship Mentorship Program. I took part in agent-based modeling and I worked on exciting projects. In 2004 I offered a science project, The Effect of Hyper Gravity on the Reproduction Rate of E. coli K-12, for a NASA Hyper-G Competition and I was the leader of the Los Alamos team “Infinity Universe”. Our project was awarded the second Honorable Mention.
I am very interested in biology and medicine and I really want to learn more and get more experienced. My favorite topics are genetics, cardiology, neurology, and aging. I love reading about the nature of sleep and dreams. I want to be а doctor one day, but I still haven’t chosen a specific area. The Theoretical Medicine Workshop will be challenging and valuable for me and I am sure that it will give me very good experience.
