From Santa Fe Institute Events Wiki
I am a postdoctoral fellow at Johns Hopkins University. I earned my PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of California at Davis in 2008. My background is lipid membrane phase behavior, batch and continuous chemical and biochemical process modeling, and molecular modeling. I am also experimentalist with experience in cell culture and atomic force microscopy. Currently, my work at Hopkins is focused on studying complex protein glycosylation reaction networks; this is indeed a very fascinating complex system with applicability in production of recombinant proteins as well as in the discovery of characteristic signatures of many diseases. Look forward to meet you all and learn from each other while enjoying this exciting and valuable experience.
