I received a Masters of Social Work from the University of Washington in Seattle with a concentration in community organizing and planned social change. I am currently pursuing a doctorate in Social Welfare at University of California, Berkeley My research interests include using complexity science, big data, and modeling to better understand communities and social service systems, to illuminate causes of social inequality, to advance social change, and to promote excellence in public sector practice. I have a lot to learn and I'm looking forward to a productive and fun summer school -- and to experiencing the great Southwest!
