Modeling and Simulating Social Systems from the Bottom Up
This presentation will address attempts to understand emergent phenomena in social systems based on individual interactions. The approach will be illustrated by means of models of
1. pedestrian and crowd behavior
2. interactive motion in space
3. game theory and learning
4. opinion formation
