"I can honestly say that SFI’s Graduate Workshop in Computational Social Science has proven to be one of the most inspiring and useful experiences I have had in my development as an academic. Attending it has deeply enriched my research and given me an opportunity to become part of an intellectual community that I consider to be at the cutting-edge of social scientific thought. I have no doubt that the few, vibrant weeks I spent at this workshop will continue to benefit my work for years to come." - Lynette Shaw, GWCSS Aluma

The Santa Fe Institute is pleased to be hosting the 24th annual Graduate Workshop in Computational Social Science Modeling and Complexity, June 17-June 29, 2018, in Santa Fe. The workshop will bring together a group of advanced graduate students and a small faculty for an intensive two-week study of computational social science modeling and complexity. The workshop will consist of lectures by faculty, special topic seminars by members of the Santa Fe Institute, and presentations of work in progress by graduate student participants. The primary goal of the summer workshop is to assist graduate students pursuing research agendas which includes a computational modeling component. A significant portion of the workshop will be devoted to analyzing and improving research being conducted by the graduate student participants.
