I am an assistant professor of epidemiology and environmental health sciences at Indiana University, Bloomington. I examine persistent toxic substance exposures in a number of communities using community-based participatory research methods. I am particularly interested in engaging community residents in environmental health research and practice. Currently, I am working on a series of community-integrated GIS and RS projects domestically and abroad--most recently in the highlands of the Dominican Republic in collaboration with the Cluster Ecoturístico Constanza. When I am not teaching or conducting research, I can be found on one of my sustainable farms that I co-own and operate with my partner.
