Evening Voyages of Discovery, a magical evening of science, music, and drama in a first-time collaboration between the Santa Fe Institute and the Santa Fe Symphony Orchestra. Celebrating the bicentennial of the births of Charles Darwin and Felix Mendelssohn, musical selections will include The Hebrides and the "Scottish" Symphony interspersed with historical and scientific commentary, as well as dramatic readings of Darwin's and Mendelssohn's letters by period dressed actors.
6:00 pm - 7:30 pm Pre-concert VIP Reception at the Eldorado Hotel is $100 per person and includes concert ticket. Held at the Sunset Room
8:00 pm Performance at the Lensic Performing Arts Center, 211 W. San Francisco St., tickets from $20-$50
