Anne Johnson

I am an engineer at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center coming to the CSSS as a business partner via the Chief of Naval Operations Strategic Studies Group at the Naval War College in Newport, RI. I have Masters Degrees in Information Technology/Software Engineering and Business Administration, and B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Sports Medicine. Outside of work, I enjoy dressage riding.

Interests

One of my interests is learning more about information flow and management over multiple networks with ad hoc reconfigurability, in dynamic environments.

Area of Expertise

Much of my work has required me to develop an understanding in an area or discipline of which I know little about, and then integrate it as a new capability or process into a larger system.

What I hope to get out of the CSSS

I hope to expand my knowledge, understanding, and application of complex systems theory and practice to support customer needs. I also just like to learn new things and meet and work with interesting people.

Project Ideas

Nothing fully formed, but maybe something related to self-healing networks or social networks; whether the networks are IT, ecological, human, or otherwise.
