2010 REU Program Schedule


Sunday, June 6

Arrive in Santa Fe. Check in at St. John’s College 12-5 p.m. Join welcome reception and dinner for Complex Systems Summer School participants at Peterson Student Center 6-8 p.m.

Monday-Friday, June 7-11

Mornings, 9-12 attend Complex Systems Summer School methodology lectures in Great Hall, St. John’s College.
Lunch at St. John’s.
Afternoons at SFI, meeting with potential mentors.

Monday, June 14

Finalize decision on mentor and project.

Wednesday, June 16

Brief abstract of project due.

June 15-August 6

Individual research project work

Monday, June 20

Introductory lectures, Graduate Workshop in Computational Social Science. REUs are invited to attend. St. John’s College


July 13-15

Individual intern meetings with REU program principal investigator Jeremy Sabloff.


August 9-13

Project presentations.

August 12

Final Paper Due.

August 14
