With a population of over 65,000 people, it is well known for its art, culture, dining, and year-round outdoor activities. June/July weather is usually hot and sunny during the day (90F/32C) and cool in the evening (55F/13C). There are often thundershowers in the afternoon. Dress is casual. Be sure to bring sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat with you. Hiking boots are also recommended.
