SFI ACtioN Topical Meeting
Co-hosted by Boeing

June 4th & 5th, 2018
Santa Fe Institute

Logistics

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Hotel Santa Fe for the nights of June 3-5. The hotel is downtown and within walking distance of many restaurants.

There is an airport in Santa Fe, but flights are generally more easily available to and from Albuquerque. Travel time from Albuquerque is about an hour, and you can either rent a car, take the Sandia Shuttle, or take the Rail Runner Express train to downtown Santa Fe.

Transportation

The meeting will be held at the Santa Fe Institute (address: 1399 Hyde Park Rd, Santa Fe, NM 87501; phone: 505-984-8800). A map and directions can be found here.

Transportation will be provided both days between Hotel Santa Fe and the Santa Fe Institute. SFI is in the mountains above Santa Fe and is not walkable from the hotel.

Weather

Santa Fe in early June is usually warm and sunny, with highs in the low to mid 80s, and cools off considerably in the evening, with lows often in the 50s. For additional information about Santa Fe, please visit the Santa Fe Visitors Bureau.

Dress

Attendees' attire will range from Santa Fe Casual (i.e., nice jeans and a sweater or button-up shirt) to Business Casual––with a few suits and dresses thrown in for good measure!
