Yuejun He, Singapore University of Technology and Design

Yuejun He is a Ph.D. student in Design Science in Singapore University of Technology and Design. She was born in Foshan, China, and received Bachelor degree in Information & Communication Engineering from Zhejiang University.

Yuejun He is strongly passionate in creative concept generation theories and methods. Her research conducts network analysis on big data sets of technologies. She is now working on the measurement and visualization of novelty and conventionality for technological invention. She had experienced engineering design in a research institute (A*STAR), a company (P&G), and an NGO (Green Zhejiang).

These experiences exposed her to a huge problem of technology application nowadays - the serious contradiction between the abundance of existing technologies and the lack of valuable new concepts. So she decided to devote herself to explore the underlying principles in the success of concept generation and take the advantage of existing technologies to make a better world.
