Complex Systems Summer School 2016

Asher Mullokandov, Boston University, Physics Department

I am a PhD candidate in the Physics department at Boston University. At the moment I'm working on modeling the dynamics and stability of markets using network and linear response theory, as well as on developing some new tools for graph coarse graining. I'm also working on network growth models, where the graph is generated via local interactions. I'm interested in applying methods from physics, especially field theory, to this problem as well as addressing whether tools from complexity and computer science can help clarify questions of interest in condensed matter physics, such as localization.
