I grew up in China and am now a PhD student studying evolutionary biology and population genetics at UC Berkeley. I want to understand how evolutionary processes shape the diversity we see in nature. When I am not doing science, I like doing martial arts, talking about natural history wonders (jumping spiders have 4 layers of photoreceptors), and taking pictures.
