I'm a PhD student in Bioengineering at Ege University of Turkey and studying with Dr. Uri Herhsberg from Drexel University, Biomedical Engineering School. We are currently trying to model robust signaling pathways as an emergent phenomena of the dynamics of competing signaling cascades. In my MSc study (2008-2010), together with Dr. Beno Kuryel we designed the feedback control systems for some biochemical production processes based on their mathematical models. To do this, we made use of the control algorithm of Internal Model Control (IMC). Besides these technical subjects, I like reading in the philosophy of science and politics and highly interested in thinking about the philosophical foundations of modern science especially the paradigm of complexity that may be seen itself as an emergent paradigm of modern science.
