Greg is a statistician at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). After completed his postgraduate studies with a M.A. in Statistics and Ph.D. in Economics, he has enjoyed his work and life in world capitals across continents including Beijing, Washington, D.C., Tokyo, Bangkok, and Rome.

He has participated recently in the revision and update of several key international standard classifications and contributed particularly to the area of agriculture. His current interest is in the design and formulation of a System of Environmental-Economic Accounts for Agriculture as a framework for measuring and monitoring the interactions of climate change, environmental impacts, agricultural and rural development, food security, sustainable intensification, adaptation, and mitigation.
