Well, I am a PhD student in Physics at the University of Calgary in the Institute for Biocomplexity and Informatics. And... uh... I play video games? Oh, and chess. I am not sure exactly what you are looking for, here.

Currently, my work focuses on applications of network topology, nonlinear dynamics, and statistical physics to biological and social phenomena. Specifically, I am studying the dynamics of genetic regulatory networks and their implications for morphogenesis.
Oh really? And what are you good for?
Yes, really. I am pretty good at analyzing complex networks, creating network null models, and identifying important characteristics. I also have some experience with scientific programming and statistical data analysis in general. I guess I also know a bit about nonlinear dynamics.
Yes, well... Fine, I suppose. What is it, precisely, that you want?
I look forward to learning about agent based modeling, and about new interdisciplinary applications of networks and nonlinear dynamics tools. Mostly, I look forward to meeting other people interested in complex systems!

Well, not as such. I would like to work on something to do with agent based modeling and social systems.
