To be edited soon (this weekend!):

I just wanted to post that I am a biologist, interested in theoretical community ecology.

I performed my undergraduate studies at Universidad Simón Bolívar in Venezuela in November 2008. Currently, I am working at three different laboratories in Venezuela (Theoretical Ecology lab, Experimental Ecology Lab and Evolution Lab), and I will start my PhD this August 2010 at Texas A&M, with Dr. Masami Fujiwara.

I am really excited about assisting to SFI CSSS, as I believe that it will teach me the proper tools and approaches to attack the complex systems that are currently being addressed in community ecology. This experience will certainly expand my knowledge and help me decide which specific topic to taeckle through my graduate studies. I cannot think of a better way to start my doctorate!
