Hello:

I am excited to be attending the Complex Systems Summer School in Bariloche. I look forward to learning a lot and meeting everyone else.

I am a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Vermont, working on a project entitled "Complex Systems Modeling for Environmental Problem Solving". My current research involves the application of genetic programming to model the nonlinear dynamics occurring between environmental variables (e.g., temperature and nutrients such as nitrogen and phosphorus) and the production of algae, particularly cyanobacterial toxins that form during algal blooms.
