Amy Warren is a PhD student in anthropology at the University of Missouri, Columbia. She received her B.A. and M.A. in anthropology from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. Her research interests include demography, disease, and population interactions in the prehistoric American Southwest. Her current project involves extending an existing archaeological model, Artificial Anasazi, to explore how factors such as disease and migration contributed to population growth and decline in northeastern Arizona from the 9th to the 13th century.
