I all! I recently finished my Ph.D. in Political Science at UC Davis and am doing a post-doc at Harvard's Institute for Quantitative Social Science. I am particularly interested in developing and applying new methods to social science research and am really looking forward to meeting everyone in June!

1. What are your main interests? While my interests in the subject are broad, my greatest interest is in the statistical analysis of complex systems; particularly dynamic networks.

2. What sorts of expertise can you bring to the group? Reasonable training and experience in statistical methodology. Strong programing skills in R.

3. What do you hope to get out of the CSSS? Progress on the questions I've been asking, and awareness of the questions I haven't thought of yet.

4. Do you have any possible projects in mind for the CSSS? Not really. A project on the statistical analysis of dynamic networks would be ideal for me, but I'll be happy as long as I am learning interesting things.
