Manish Nag got his Bachelor's in Computer Science from Brown in 1997. After 11 years of working on his own Internet startup, and at ad agencies and IT consulting companies in Boston, he became fascinated with organizations and the rational myths of business life. He started a PhD program in Sociology at Princeton in 2008, where he has worked on visualizations and network analyses of international trade flows. Manish has developed the software package Sonoma for visualizing network datasets in geographic space, and is working on a book project entitled The Atlas of Globalization with Miguel Centeno.
