I am currently a Presidential Management Fellow at the Department of Energy's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy.  I coordinate the Strategic Planning and Analysis team, which provides high quality analytical products to decision makers (DOE, Congress, and the public). Among other things, our work addresses public investment in technology R&D and the greenhouse gas abatement role of our suite of efficiency and renewable technologies.  My personal analytical interests currently focus on energy efficiency: potential projections, implementation issues, and program evaluation.

My education includes a Masters in Environmental Mangement focused on Energy and Environmental Economics and Policy from Duke as well as a B.A. in Environmental Studies and Spanish from UNC Chapel Hill. Other professional experience includes the Built Environment team at the Rocky Mountain Institute, non-profits working on Southern forests and waste management, and organzing around sustainability and renewable energy development.

I love being outside and tasting new types of cheese.
