Hello, I am Liang Chang .
I received my undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from Chongqing Jianzhu University(former Chongqing Institute of Architecture & Engineering), Chongqing, China and my master degree in Engineering Mechanics from Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China.
Then I worked on several research projects of typhoon risk analysis and structureal health monitoring of high-rise buildings as a research assistant at the City Universtiy of Hong Kong.
I currently am a Sustainable Costal Margins Graduate Fellow in the Hazard Reduction & Recovery Center and doctoral student in the Department of Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning at Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas.
My research is focused on civil systems, engineering risk analysis, probabilistic and statistics methods, Geographic information system (GIS), structural health monitoring, structural reliability, natural hazards risk analysis and loss estimation, disaster socio-economic consequences analysis.
