Anyone out there interested in rock climbing? Ought to be some nice possibilities round SF!

Also, I love hiking and all kinds of outdoor, backpacking, hanging out with friends, a book or a beer.

What you think about some prior-to-CSSS-mailing list? e.g. about similar interest, traveling together (any more Germans coming?) and so on!?

Hey, I'm Sonja.

I just finished my PhD at the EcoNetLab in Darmstadt, Germany; together with Uli Brose. Our main interest is in predator-prey dynamics and complex ecological networks and all these parameters that are responsible for food-web stability (which are... connectance, link number, trophic relationships, generalization and many more). Most important parameters for my work: diversity and body masses, or more precisely the body-mass ratios between consumer and resource and the effects of species loss. Happy to tell you more in June, if interested. :)

Meanwhile, I hope to meet a cool Gang over there in Santa Fe and I am also looking forward to some international fun besides all the interesting stuff everybody is working on. Anyone out there interested in rock climbing? Ought to be some nice possibilities round SF!
